What Does It Do?
LumiNutra was developed to soothe inflammation and enhance blood flow to all areas of the body.
Cellular aging is, to a great degree, the result of inflammation and poor circulation. Inflammation can directly damage cells, while insufficient circulation robs cells of the vital nutrients needed to produce the energy required for physical recovery and healthy metabolism.
We focused our research on improving energy production within the body’s cells. The biological details of how inflammation and circulation are controlled by this energy are complex, but, in short, the more robust the cellular energy production, the lower the inflammation and the greater the circulation.
After extensive research and development, we believe we have succeeded in creating a formula that greatly improves intracellular energy production, enhancing circulation and providing a potent anti-inflammation solution.

Why IV?
There are 3 main reasons why LumiNutra is administered intravenously.
First, because LumiNutra contains robust amounts of vitamins and minerals, it would be nearly impossible to achieve the desired blood levels of these nutrients by oral consumption. For most vitamins and minerals taken orally there is an inverse relationship between the amount taken and the percentage absorbed. In other words, the more you take, the less is absorbed.
Take Vitamin C for example; research shows that a serving of 30-180 mg is absorbed at about 80%. Increase that serving to just 1,000 mg and the absorption drops to 50%. And the more you take, the lower the rate drops. This not only makes it very difficult to achieve therapeutic blood levels, but also has the added potential of creating less than pleasant bowel issues.
So, the only way to achieve the blood levels necessary for the desired positive effects seen in our research is through intravenous infusion. This method gives us an edge over traditional nutraceutical supplements and functional foods. The nutrients in LumiNutra are simply delivered to cells more efficiently!
The second reason for IV delivery is because digestive degradation also plays a role. The process of digestion is a harsh process that exposes all nutrients to strong stomach acids and digestive enzymes. This process tends to degrade some of the more sensitive vitamins within the gastrointestinal tract before they can be absorbed.
Even after absorption, vitamins and minerals face another challenge, that of “first-pass metabolism”. First-pass metabolism essentially means that our digestive system and liver remove some of the “active substances” from drugs and other substances taken by mouth. So after intestinal absorption, even more potency is lost. This further limits the level of active vitamins and minerals that make it into general circulation when taken orally.
Intravenous delivery is another leg up over functional foods and traditional nutraceutical supplements since it avoids this first-pass metabolic degradation by delivering nutrients directly to cells throughout the body before they pass through the liver.
The final reason for IV delivery is that, there is a gentle formation of effervescence, or “fizzing”, in the IV bag when the LumiNutra ingredients are added. We believe this effervescing effect plays a role in the efficacy of the formula.
